Quill Awards – Vote Early and Often
That would be cheating, of course; voting often I mean. Despite America’s slide toward massive voter fraud, one should vote once for one’s chosen candidate. In the case of the Quill Awards that would, of course, be Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. And there are certain safeguards set up by MSN to keep one from voting numerous times for Water For Elephants from a single computer, which is as it should be.
However, what if there is more than one person in a household who wishes to vote for Water For Elephants? Well, they could go to another computer and vote for Water For Elephants. Or, use a different browser to vote for Water For Elephants. But what if another computer is impractical and a different browser is unavailable?
MSN uses a cookie to block multiple votes from a single computer. If there is more than one person who wishes to vote for Water For Elephants from that computer, you will need to delete the cookies from that computer.
If you’re using Internet Explorer, first of all, shame on you, and second of all, click on Tools/Internet Options/Delete Cookies.
If you’re a savy computer user, you’ll be using Firefox or most any other browser. For Firefox, click on Tools/Options/Privacy/Cookies/Clear Cookies Now.
Keep in mind that this will delete ALL your cookies which may, or may not, mean a whole lot. And second, if you are the only person using the computer and you do this to vote multiple times for Water For Elephants, well, that would be cheating now wouldn’t it?
