Beat hell out their libraries, too. Wet books are so difficult to read. Try dog-earing the page of a wet book. If you can even find a single page, much less turn it enough to dog-ear it. And the smell!</p>

Dewey Donation System. Their 2006 book drive is concentrating on restocking the Harrison County Library System in Mississippi. Each of the libraries (Biloxi, West Biloxi, Margaret Sherry, D’Iberville, Gulfport, Orange Grove, Saucier and Pass Christian) has a wish list of books which, conveniently enough, is listed on Amazon. You can select and buy from there or send a cash donation. Make the check out to the specific branch and send it to:
