Death Ain’t But A Word

  • by

I’m not sure why I picked up this book. The title is so-so, the cover is garish. Was it the San Francisco Book Review blurb on the front cover? I’m generally not inclined toward paying much attention to blurbs. Way too many blurb whores out there for me to pay much credence to blurbs.

I may not know exactly why I decided to give this book a try but I can tell you in all certainty that it hooked be from the opening line. I had planned, as is my practice, to read the first few sentences. I ended up reading the first three chapters before I knew what was happening. I finished the book in two sittings, but only because I had started it late in the day.

This is a masterful work, well written, well plotted, fresh, with twists and turns that will keep you glued to your chair while rapidly thumbing pages. Bravo Author!
